Considered the ultimate Richard Mille by not only RM aficionados but by Richard himself so naming it so, there is little doubt that up until the last few years RM have struggled to find a compatible case material worthy of their ground breaking movements. Or as Richard would no doubt say, a compatible chassis for his engines. Since the invention of his bullet proof featherweight Quartz TPT cases RM have enjoyed premiums on their watches only seen by the likes of Rolex. No mean feat when you consider their gargantuan price differential. To use another car analogy: Upon Ferrari's release of the 599 GTO many believed it to be too much car for the money when compared to its race version the "XX" at over three times the price. The current static price of the "XX" compared to the huge premiums for the GTO indicate such. Many RM collectors felt aggrieved upon the release of the RM35 due to its utilization of a similar strut configuration of the award winning RM12 albeit at not only a fifth of the price but at a fifth of the weight! Current market prices would indicate a vindication of the aggrieved as prices have more than doubled and are still climbing as I type. The only drawback of the RM35, its big brothers the RM27 and RM50 is that they all run Nano carbon cases that seem to mark almost as you look at them! So as a last hurrah to the most expensive manually wound watch in history Richard decided to create only thirty five pieces in honor of the model that truly put his brand on the map. Whilst incorporating the original strut movement of the RM35 and utilizing the same old school case design, the Ultimate Edition is hewn from ground breaking Quartz TPT, creating the perfect incarnation of a manually wound sports watch. Now we really get to show off... Ours is not only 1 of the 35 only offered to the most loyal of RM collectors (much in same way that Ferrari operate) but is actually the 'Ultimate Ultimate' edition being case number 1.
1st & foremost, we understand & take responsibility for the fact that both tastes & horological fashions are ever changing.
We do this by being willing to take back past pieces we've sold either in the form of part exchanges or cash when needed.
With clients rarely loosing more than 15-20% in this process & even benefitting from large profits on occasion, we believe this is the way to build trust with the public. For example. If going 'off piste' & not sticking to in vogue trendy watches such as Batman's, we believe you would incur the same monetary loss spending £20,000 with us on your various purchases as you would spending £8500 at new RRP.
The very fact that we've never advertised in over 30 years shows we have a long standing loyal customer base. Please see testimonials for more on this.

Like the reintroduction of the Mini motorcar over a decade ago, this reinterpretation of Big Pilot by IWC is better than the original. This 1st series Platinum example is of course the top of the top.
